Ticket #16 (feature request)

I would like to be able to enforce the visibilty of the drop-down menus based on user roles or permissions. I tried to do this in portal_actions but it had no effect on the drop-down menus defined in the product. I was using the instructions posted here: http://plone.org/documentation/how-to/changing-tabs

If this ability exists, I'd appreciate somebody pointing me in the right direction.
